History:  World and American civilization and history are a significant part of our history curriculum. A heavy emphasis is placed on the basic values and principles of American democracy, including the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and other foundations of American government and society. Students learn about westward expansion, immigration and industrialization of our great nation along with ancient cultures such as the Greeks, the Egyptians, and the Romans.
